How to Update 23.2 for FTM 2017


FTM 2017 Build 343 Version 23.0– This version was originally released. The newest updated version for the 2017 family tree creator version is version 23.2 update build 540. FTM 2017 Version 23.1 Build 480-First update has been released for the FTM 2017 version 23.2 Build 540–Second update. For all users who use Family Tree Maker 2017 it is recommended. It involves other critical improvements to make sure recent changes made by Ancestry.com and FamilySearch provide essential compatibility enhancements.
It does, however, need to build version 23.0 of Family Tree Maker343 or build version 23.1 480. Family Tree Maker 2017 version 23.2 is recommended for construction 540.




What you get in latest Version 23.2 build 540 (23.2.0.540) update for Windows: –

New Browser– Alternatively, an obsolete Internet Explorer 11 browser has been checked for a new secure browser. The new update also addresses problems of compatibility with Ancestry and FamilySearch and makes web searches easier.



Faster performance– During the Web merging process, Ancestry media is downloaded and no longer stored. This leads to easier browsing of search results from ancestors.


Categories and Collection List Problems– In the new update, this fix fixes the categories and collection problems.


Blank List– Fixed the issue of showing a blank list of ancestors.


File Not Found– The mistake of getting family search information is reversed.

Incorrect Tree – sync trustworthiness is strengthened and therefore incorrect trees are forgiven and errors related to sync are continually remedied.


Duplicate problems– The sync error problem and duplicate formation problem with ancestry are fixed in this update.


Media Problems– If unsyncable HTML media appear in any sync attempt, you will not use the adjuster feature.


Merging Tree-When adding individuals without the fusion option and missing tasks, groups of tasks and private attributes for information and notes are solved, this problem arises.

Migration Path and Reference Media – difficulties with stability and map problems have been addressed.
